| At
the very outset, I express my profound gratitude
to Almighty Allah for giving me a great opportunity
since March, 2007 to server the department of
Business Administration under IIUC Dhaka Campus
with my strong commitment and utmost honesty
and sincerity. Department of Business Administration
(DBA) is one of the biggest departments of IIUC,
Dhaka Campus in respect of teachers, students
and other facilities. At present, four programs
namely Bachelor of Business Administration,
Masters of Business Administration, Master in
HRM and Master in Bank Management have been
offered under DBA. The Department offers Majors
in Accounting, Finance & Banking, Marketing,
Management and Human Resource Management under
BBA Program. Under MBA Majors in Accounting,
Finance & Banking, HRM, Marketing &
International Business, Management Information
System, Hospital Management and Textile Management
have been offered. At present, DBA has 20 regular
faculties of whom 15 are male and 05 are female.
Of the regular faculties, 02 are Professors,
01 is Asst. Professor and the rest 17 are Lecturers.
Moreover, as many as 40 adjunct faculties are
taking classes in BBA program. These adjunct
faculties are the highly qualified & experienced
teachers of IBA, DU, Business Study Faculty
DU, BOU, JU and some of the renowned Private
Universities of the country. DBA has been growing
tremendously day by day with its main mission
“Providing quality education with the
morality”.
The vision of the DBA is to produce graduates
& develop human resources imbued with Islamic
values, education and training particularly
in the areas of businesses, industries, government
and non-government offices and educational institutions.
Since its inception, DBA has been playing a
leading role in providing skilled, efficient,
committed, sincere and honest human resources
to meet the ever charging needs of the country
as a whole. From the very beginning, the Department
of Business Administration has been devoted
to academic excellence and uncompromising standard
for which it has earned reputation. Faculty
members are actively engaged in research and
have many research publications to their credit.
The expertises of teaching staff, research activities
and dynamic curriculum have made the Department
a unique institution in and outside the University.
Moreover, the department provides ample opportunities
of credit transfers from and to other Universities,
home and abroad.
